High Tide is growing its national footprint once again with the launch of two new Canna Cabana retail cannabis stores: one in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and another in downtown Toronto, Ontario.
These additions bring High Tide’s total number of Canna Cabana locations in Canada to 202, further reinforcing its status as one of the country’s leading cannabis retailers.
Both sites are positioned in high-traffic areas, offering strong growth potential and expanding access to High Tide’s discount club model.
New Winnipeg Store Targets Underserved North-End Market
High Tide’s newest Canna Cabana store in Winnipeg, located at 1439 Henderson Highway, opened for adult-use cannabis sales on June 27, 2025. This location marks the company’s first store in Winnipeg’s north end. It is situated in a grocery-anchored plaza near Chief Peguis Trail, a high-traffic area with strong co-tenancy and easy accessibility.
The store will serve a residential population of approximately 10,000 within a 1-kilometer radius and has limited direct competition in the area. Its strategic placement supports High Tide’s goal of expanding into new and underserved areas within the city.
Toronto Location Opens in Downtown’s The Well on Canada Day
In Ontario, High Tide will launch another Canna Cabana location on July 1, 2025, at 486 Front Street West in Toronto. The new store is situated in The Well, a recently developed mixed-use complex in the downtown core that combines luxury residences, retail, entertainment, and dining options.
Positioned next to the entrance of the Wellington Market, a central feature of the mall known for its food vendors and constant foot traffic, the store is expected to benefit from high visibility and consistent customer flow. The nearby outdoor plaza also attracts large crowds through seasonal events, giving the new store a prime location for consumer engagement.
National Presence Grows to 202 Locations
With these two openings, High Tide’s total number of Canna Cabana stores in Canada will rise to 202, including 83 in Ontario and 12 in Manitoba. The company continues to leverage its discount club and loyalty model to drive growth, citing strong performance across both provinces.
